Tesco Colleague - Martlesham Extra

Store Associate – Part-Time

About the Role

Our Tesco Colleague role offers part-time opportunities with a starting pay of £13.28/hour (increasing to £14.55/hour for stores within the M25). Additional payments may apply depending on location.

We provide:

  • A minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with flexibility to reduce to 12 hours if preferred.
  • 3 weeks’ notice for scheduled shifts.

Customers are at the heart of everything we do. This is a hands-on role with varied and challenging tasks, perfect for committed and passionate individuals. As a Store Associate, you’ll:

  • Serve customers with passion and pride, delivering a friendly, natural shopping experience.
  • Be a passionate and knowledgeable advocate for our products and services.
  • Work across the store, including service desks, picking, and replenishment.
  • Apply training effectively to ensure safe, efficient operations and excellent customer service.
  • Make customer-driven decisions and deliver duties that enhance service delivery and sales.
  • Engage in seasonal, community, and charity events to foster a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Hold a detailed understanding of your store’s performance, including waste reduction, shrink minimisation, and profit contribution.
  • Handle products with care and attention to quality and condition.
  • Be yourself and live our values, ensuring all customers feel welcome while adhering to company policies.
