Floor Team Member – Store Operations
About the Role
Our Tesco Colleague rate starts at £13.28/hour rising to £14.55 for locations within the M25. Payment may vary depending on location, and further incentives apply.
This role requires guaranteed minimum hours of 16 per week, though part-time arrangements as low as 12 hours are considered.
Availability Window
Please note the available times. Shifts will be scheduled within these windows with 3 weeks’ notice:
- Monday: 07:30 – 13:30
- Tuesday: 07:30 – 13:30
- Friday: 07:30 – 13:30
- Saturday: 07:30 – 13:30
Alternately, if availability closely matches but isn’t identical, we’d still be interested in hearing from you.

Responsibilities
As a Tesco Colleague, you’ll:
- Serve customers with passion and pride, delivering natural, attentive service.
- Be knowledgeable about products and services in your store, ensuring great recommendations.
- Work across departments, supporting tasks like service tasks, picking, replenishment when required.
- Train safely and effectively, ensuring routines meet customers’ needs and drive store success.
- Help reduce waste, shrink, and stimulate sales while providing top-notch customer service.
- Handle products with care to maintain quality and presentation.
- Embrace events—seasonal, community and charity initiatives—building inclusion and engagament.
- Be bold in operational decisions to improve customer satisfaction, shop efficiency, and quality standards.
- Accept deliveries and confidently represent the brand.
- Live our Tesco values, ensuring every customer feels welcome.

The ideal candidate will:
