Store Team Member (Seasonal Availability) – Tesco
About the Role
We are looking for passionate, dedicated individuals to join our Store Team! This is a committed role with plenty of variety and the opportunity to make a real difference in our customers' day.
Throughout your time in this role, you will be responsible for serving customers, maintaining high service standards, and contributing to the overall success of our store.
Availability Window
We require availability for shifts across the following days, within the specified times:

Key Pay Information
- Base rate: £13.28 per hour (increases to £14.55 per hour for stores within the M25).
- Overtime compensation: You will receive an additional £2.35 per hour (night premium pay) for any hours worked between midnight and 6am.
- Guaranteed hours: We offer a minimum of 16 hours per week for new colleagues, though roles requiring flexibility down to 12 hours are also available.
What You’ll Need to Do
- Serve customers with passion – simplify busy times, manage requests, and ensure every customer leaves satisfied with their shopping experience.
- Be the neighbour you wish you had working in your local store: Luck, personalisation, kindness, and ensuring that Tesco is ‘Just how you like it’.
- Help run the store: Work across multiple areas, including service and replenishment zones, following training to ensure efficiency and customer service excellence.
- Drive performance and meet customer needs: Understand store performance, contribute to selling and service goals, while maintaining quality, reducing waste, and boosting profits.
- Handle products carefully – ensure safety, presentation, and quality for customers.
- Represent Tesco values & create inclusivity: Participate in community, seasonal, and charity events. Reflect our values, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
- Assist with deliveries – occasionally help facilitate and manage deliveries.
