Store Associate Role – Availability Window
About the Role
Our Tesco Colleague pay starts from £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Night premium pay applies—£2.35 extra per hour for shifts between midnight and 6AM. Additional location-based payments may also apply.
New colleagues receive minimum 16 guaranteed hours per week, but flexible positions (down to 12 hours) are available.
You must be over 18 to apply.

Your shifts will be scheduled within these windows. You’ll receive 3 weeks’ notice for your assigned shifts. If your availability closely aligns (but isn’t an exact match), we’d still like to hear from you.

Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service by greeting customers warmly and meeting their needs.
- Promote our products, services, and seasonal/corporate events, ensuring a great atmosphere in-store.
- Uphold Tesco’s values (e.g., honesty, knowledge, effort, care, courage).
- Handle products safely to maintain freshness and quality for customers.
- Contribute to store performance by spotting opportunities to improve service, reduce waste, and boost sales.
- Assist with deliveries when required.
- Volunteer for team tasks like supporting community and charity initiatives.

You’ll need:
