Tesco Colleague Nights - Northallerton Superstore

Customer Service Assistant – Tesco Store

Availability Window

Implementation of scheduled shifts must adhere to the following availability windows (time ranges when shifts may be assigned):

  • Sunday • From 23:00:00 • To 05:45:00

  • Thursday • From 23:00:00 • To 08:00:00

  • Friday • From 23:00:00 • To 08:00:00

  • Saturday • From 23:00:00 • To 08:00:00


Pay & Work Hours

  • Our Tesco Colleague rate starts at £13.28/hour (increases to £14.55/hour for stores within the M25).
  • Night premium: +£2.35/hour from midnight–6am.
  • Additional payments may apply depending on location.
  • Minimum 16 guaranteed weekly hours (or a minimum of 12 hours where tailored flexibility is requested).
  • Shifts will be scheduled 3 weeks in advance with up to 24 hours’ notice before changes.

Colleagues in store assist with a wide range of tasks:

  • Serving customers with passion and energy
  • Supporting colleagues in service, picking, and replenishment areas
  • Offering local irish dubai expertise on products and services
  • Participating in seasonal, charitable, and marketplace events
  • Driving the performance of the store by improving service, sales, reducing waste, and hitting profit targets

Occasionally, you may be asked to assist with in-store deliveries.

You must be over 18 to apply due to working hours that include early starts and late finishes.
