About the Role
Our Tesco Colleague role offers diverse service, retail, and operational opportunities tailored to meet Tesco’s customers' needs while fostering a dynamic, inclusive team culture. Available shifts include:

- Base pay starts at £13.28/hour [increasing to £14.55/hour for stores within the M25].
- Night premium: Additional £2.35/hour for all hours worked between midnight and 6am.
- Guaranteed hours: We offer a minimum of 16 hours per week. Applications for part-time roles (minimum 12 hours/week) are welcome too.
- Staff scheduling: You’ll receive 3 weeks’ notice for shift times within the advertised availability windows. Schedule flexibility is supported if there’s a match in overall availability.

Responsibilities
As a Tesco Colleague, your work will primarily focus on:
- Customer service:
- Delivering passionate customer service with pride and energy, ensuring every interaction leaves customers satisfied.
- Greeting customers warmly with authentic engagement.
- Product knowledge and expertise:
- Having in-depth familiarity with the store’s products and services, staying updated on trending items and promotions.
- Operational roles:
- Supporting service areas, tasks in replenishment, and any labour needs across the store.
- Ensuring health and safety standards, as well as quality checks, are met.
- Global thinking:
- Contributing to seasonal events, community initiatives, and charity activities to create an inclusive atmosphere.
- Business performance and efficiency:
- Understanding how your role impacts store performance, setting targets for quality, and reducing waste to drive sales and profitability.
- Teamwork and leadership:
- Decision-making ability that prioritizes customer satisfaction while adhering to store policies.
- Flexibility and operational tasks:
- Occasionally handling store deliveries as needed.
- Brand and colleague commitment:
