Tesco Store Colleague Role
About the Role
Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28/hour (increasing to £14.55 within the M25). For shifts between midnight and 6am, you’ll receive an additional night premium of £2.35/hour.
We offer:
- A minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week (flexible to 12 hours if preferred)
- 3 weeks’ notice before scheduling your shifts

Your Responsibilities
You will:
- Serve customers with passion, offering great service and insightful recommendations.
- Be an ambassador for products/services, using your store knowledge to assist shoppers.
- Support cross-store operations, including service counter work, picking/replenishment, and seasonal campaigns.
- Deliver safe standards, including self- and team training.
- Upserve customers efficiently, handle product delivery, and reduce waste/shrink to drive profit.
- Participate in community/charity projects and represent the brand with pride.
- Live Tesco’s values, fostering inclusivity and welcoming behaviour.
