About the Role
Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 per hour. For stores within the M25, pay increases to £14.55 per hour, with additional payments available in certain locations.
We guarantee your regular hours, with a minimum of 16 contracted hours per week. If you prefer fewer hours (down to 12), we’d still love to welcome you.
You’ll need to be available during the following availability windows (shifts will be scheduled within these times, with 3 weeks’ notice before your shifts are confirmed):

Responsibilities
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Ensuring customers feel valued and welcome with excellent service.
- Having thorough product knowledge and representing Tesco confidently.
- Working flexibly across multiple areas (desk-service, picking/replenishment, checkout, etc.).
- Upholding our training and safety standards,/examples"bl>
- Driving sales and service excellence, whilst supporting shrinkage and waste reduction efforts.
- Engaging in community events to enhance our inclusive, welcoming atmosphere.
- Operating efficiently to contribute to profit and operational success.
Requirements
To excel here, you need:
- A passion for customer service, starting with a warm smile.
- The ability to build rapport, turning every visit into a great experience.
- Initiative to make empowered decisions for our customers.
- Strong teamwork skills, with a **"working together" mindset.
- Open communication and a positive attitude.
- Arrival at work prompt, presentable, and ready to represent Tesco.
- Commitment to working with minimum age 18 (as per UK law).
Note: This role specifically will allow candidates aged over 18.
