Our Tesco Colleague role

Availability Window

Availability is required during the following times:

  • Monday: 15:30–19:00
  • Tuesday: 10:30–13:30
  • Wednesday: 10:30–16:30
  • Thursday: 10:30–15:30
  • Friday: 14:00–17:30
  • Saturday: 14:00–17:30

Airline standards to overtime and additional shift premiums may apply for graded roles, subject to location and role specifics. Pay starts at £13.28/hour (or £14.55/hour for stores within or close to the M25 corridor).

Key Facts

  • We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours/week (flexible to a minimum of 12).
  • Notice period: 3 weeks before schedule publication.

About the Role

What You’ll Do

  • Customer face: Serve with passion and a natural warm attitude.
  • Store mastery: Deep knowledge of products, seasonal events, and community engagement.
  • Repo & pack: Handle inventory, picking, loading, and replenishment across the store.
  • Decision making: Implement training, meet customer targets, and ensure routine execution.
  • Sustainability: Minimise waste, reduce shrink, and improve retail performance.
  • One Tesco: Live our values, be the brand ambassador, and treat everyone with kindness.
  • Optional duties: Accept deliveries to support stock rotation.
