About the Role
Availability Window
We require the following working availability:
- Sunday: 08:30 – 17:30
- Saturday: 08:00 – 17:00
Salary & Hours:
- Standard pay: £13.28 per hour (increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25)
- Additional payments may apply based on location
- A minimum 16 guaranteed hours per week for new colleagues, with flexible options down to 12 hours
- Shifts scheduled within advertised availability windows, with 3 weeks’ notice of scheduling
- Flexibility considered if availability closely aligns—minor variations accepted

What You’ll Do:
- Be a customer champion, delivering exceptional service with warmth and pride
- Maintain product knowledge and handle items with care for quality
- Assist across in-store areas, including picking, replenishment, and service operations
- Adhere to training standards to ensure safety, efficiency, and customer brilliance
- Take and service requests by anticipating customer needs
- Engage in seasonal, community, and charity events to foster inclusivity
- Monitor store performance, understand your role in sales, customer service, and profit
- Demonstrate commitment to Tesco values, enhancing customer experiences
- Accept store deliveries as required

- Applying detailed product knowledge to guide customers confidently

Requirements
To excel as a Tesco Colleague, you’ll need:
