Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting across the store, whether in service areas or assistive operations like picking and replenishment.
  • Applying job-specific training to ensure safety, efficiency, and a great customer experience.
  • Proactively making decisions tailored to customer needs, managing daily store routines and ensuring they align with both efficiency and service enhancement.
  • Participating in community, charity, and seasonal events to ensure a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Understanding the store’s performance metrics to drive improvements in service, sales, waste reduction, and shrink while contributing to profitability.
  • Handling products carefully to maintain quality and prepare them for customers.
  • Embracing and living by our core values, ensuring every customer feels welcome while adhering to store policies.

At times, you may need to assist with the acceptance of store deliveries.

Requirements

  • A genuine passion for service—form genuine connections with your customers, leaving them with an excellent impression of your store.

  • Entrepreneurial drive to go above and beyond for our customers and store’s overall success.

  • Ability to grow with the right approach to feedback and continual improvement—be open to training opportunities without seeing them as paths to advancement within an organisation.

  • Ability to stand out during the store’s busy hours—be celerity in a busy environment by putting systems and processes ahead of yourself.

  • 18+ years during the start of employment to adhere to British legislation and entrance policy guidelines.

  • Be able to communicate openly and effectively to overcome obstacles, seek support when needed, and hold open discussions on challenges.
