Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour, increasing to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It is our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but we also have opportunities available for fewer hours (minimum of 12).
The table indicates the days and times we would like you to be available. Your contracted shifts will fall within these windows. You will need 3 weeks' notice of exactly when your shifts will be. If your availability is close but not an exact match to these times, we would still welcome your application.

Responsibilities
- Serving customers with passion and pride, ensuring great natural service.
- Understanding and promoting the products and services offered in the store.
- Supporting across the store in areas including service, picking, and replenishment.
- Putting training into practice to ensure safety, effectiveness, and exceptional customer service.
- Making timely decisions that meet customer needs.
- Participating in seasonal, community, and charity events to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Understanding the store’s performance metrics and contributing to improving service, sales, waste reduction, and profit.
- Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure optimal condition for customers.
- Embracing our values while ensuring everyone feels welcome and policies are adhered to.
