Remuneration
- Starting hourly rate: £13.28 (£14.55 within the M25).
- Minimum 16 guaranteed hours per week—commonly referred to as "minutes rate rostering" (where enrolment in this flexible scheduling scheme replaces full guaranteed hours).
- VOLUNTARY minimum of 12 weekly working hours if preferred.
- Additional location-specific payments may apply.
Note: Shifts are scheduled within your availability window, with 3 weeks’ notice of shifts. Close matches to advertised availability will be considered.

- Connect with customers, delivering exceptional natural service with pride—putting their needs first.
- Show passionate local knowledge of products and promotions across the store.
- Support across key areas including picking, replenishment, and customer service.
- Apply safety and efficiency best practices, ensuring smooth store operations.
- Make informed decisions for customers, streamlining routines (e.g. holidays, stock, events).
- Participate in seasonal community and charity initiatives, fostering inclusivity.
- Monitor store performance, identifying waste reduction and sales opportunities.
- Handle products carefully to maintain quality and freshness.
- Embrace Tesco’s core values and policies—always showing brand pride and positivity.

Requirements
Essential:

- Initiative and problem-solving skills; comfortable making timely decisions for customers.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively, communicate clearly, and build relationships across teams.
