Availability Window
The following hours reflect the preferred availability windows for this role. You’ll be scheduled within these times, with 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. While we match as closely as possible, flexibility is appreciated if your availability is slightly different.

Key Responsibilities
As a Tesco Colleague, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service daily. Your responsibilities include:
- Serving customers with passion and pride, ensuring they have a great shopping experience.
- Passionate and knowledgeable about store products and services, helping customers effortlessly.
- Assisting in service areas, picking, and replenishment as needed.
- Following store policies safely and effectively to meet customer needs.
- Making quick, customer-focused decisions that align with store routines.
- Engaging in seasonal, community, and charity events to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Monitoring store performance, contributing to sales, reducing waste, and driving service excellence.
- Handling products with care to maintain quality and freshness.
- Embracing Tesco’s values—being inclusive, responsible, and a brand ambassador.

Successful candidates will be:

Payment & Hours
- Our standard hourly rate starts at £13.28 (£14.55 within the M25). Additional payments may apply based on location.
- We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week but can accommodate as few as 12 hours if that suits your needs.
