Tesco Shift Lead pays starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. You will receive a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.
Your shifts are scheduled according to the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice. If your availability is close, but not exact, we encourage you to apply.
Eligibility: You need to be 18 or older to apply for this role.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Leading the team to deliver an excellent customer experience in-store.
- Working across all store areas and collaborating with all colleagues to assist with day-to-day operational queries.
- Building positive, inclusive relationships to empower colleagues to perform at their best.

Handling store leadership in the absence of the Manager.

Requirements
- Age: Must be over 18.
- Experience in a team lead or management role in fast-paced retail.
- Strong drive to be a role model with a passion for exceeding customer expectations.
- Commitment to fostering positive, enduring relationships within an inclusive and supportive team environment.
- Clear communication skills, keeping colleagues well-informed through various channels.
- Natural leadership qualities that inspire and motivate the team for outstanding results.
