Pay & Contract

  • Starting pay: £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25.
  • Some locations offer additional payments.
  • Minimum guaranteed hours: 16 hours per week (with options for roles starting at 12 hours).
  • Contract hours are scheduled within your availability windows with at least 3 weeks' notice for shifts.

  • You must be 18 or over to apply for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Lead your team to deliver an exceptional customer experience in-store.
  • Coordinate across all store areas, being the key point of contact for day-to-day operational queries.
  • Build an inclusive team culture, fostering positive, supportive relationships for optimal performance.
  • Act as the store lead in the manager’s absence, confidently managing operations independently.
  • Adapt quickly to change and make balanced, flexible decisions when needed.
  • Train and coach colleagues, providing constructive feedback and modelling outstanding service.
  • Stay customer-focused, continuously identifying opportunities to enhance our impact on customers, communities, and the planet.

  • Proven experience as a team lead or in a management role within fast-paced retail.
  • A strong commitment to service excellence, ensuring every customer interaction exceeds expectations.
  • The ability to build and maintain lasting relationships to create a supportive, inclusive team environment.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills, keeping the team informed through various channels.
  • A natural leadership style that motivates and inspires others to achieve outstanding results.
