About the Role

- Starting pay: £15.59/hour (increasing to £16.86 within the M25, with additional payments in some stores).
- Guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are available.
Worked hours will be scheduled within the provided windows, with at least 3 weeks’ notice per shift. We still encourage applications even if your availability aligns closely with our needs.
Eligibility: 18+ years of age.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead your team to deliver an exceptional customer experience in-store.
- Operate across all store areas and support colleagues, answering day-to-day operations queries.
- Build, sustain, and model an inclusive team culture that empowers colleagues to perform at their best.
- Step into a management role with confidence when the Store Manager is absent.
- Make flexible, balanced decisions and adapt swiftly to change.
- Coach and mentor colleagues, provide constructive feedback, and set the right example for customer service.
- Maintain a growth mindset, ensuring we continuously improve for customers, communities, and sustainability.

requirements
✅ Be over 18 to apply.
✅ Prior experience as a team lead or manager in fast-paced retail preferred (retail experience highly valued).
✅ Strong leadership skills: Be a champion for great service, ensuring every customer need is prioritised.
✅ Foster trust and long-term collaboration to nourish an inclusive, supportive team environment.
✅ Communicate clearly (verbally and in writing) to provide team updates and direction.
✅ Motivate and inspire others to achieve outstanding performance.
