Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though 12-hour roles may also be available.
Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the provided availability windows, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability aligns closely, applying is still encouraged.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead your team to deliver an exceptional customer experience in-store.
- Support operations across all store areas and teams, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning.
- Build authentic, inclusive relationships that empower colleagues to excel in their roles.
- Confidently take charge when the Store Manager is absent, ensuring business continuity.
- Make flexible, fair decisions and adapt quickly to changing demands.
- Coach colleagues, provide feedback, and embody great service standards daily.

Requirements
- Must be over 18.
- Experience in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment is required.
- A passion for delivering fantastic service to meet every customer’s needs.
- Ability to build positive, lasting connections and foster an inclusive team environment.
- Clear communication skills, using different channels to keep the team informed effectively.
- Strong leadership ability that inspires and motivates others to achieve outstanding results.
