Shift Lead (Night) – Store Customer Service

What You’ll Earn
£15.59/hour (base pay) (rising to £16.86 within M25 stores). £2.35 extra per hour for all work between midnight and 6am (night premium). Minimum of 16 hours/week guaranteed, though roles as low as 12 hours are available. Shifts will be scheduled within the availability window, with at least 3 weeks’ notice.

What You’ll Do
You will be responsible for:
- Leading your team to deliver an exceptional customer experience in-store
- Working across all store departments and fostering collaboration with colleagues
- Serving as the go-to person for operational queries and day-to-day problem-solving
- Taking charge when the Store Manager isn’t present, ensuring smooth operations
- Making balanced, adaptable decisions and thriving in fast-paced environments
- Coaching and supporting team members, providing feedback and modelling great service
- Staying customer-focused, driven by continuous improvement for customers, communities, and sustainability
What You Bring to the Role
You’ll need:
- Experience in a team lead or frontline management role, preferably in retail
- A passion for customer service excellence and ensuring everyone feels valued
- The ability to build and maintain positive, inclusive relationships within the team
- Strong communication skills, keeping colleagues informed through various means
- Leadership qualities that motivate and inspire your team to consistently excel
