Location: Hybrid – 3 days Office (Wilmslow HQ), 2 days from home

The Role

We are looking for a detail-driven and proactive Test Analyst to support the delivery of high-quality software across a portfolio of business-critical systems. This role will focus on a blend of automated and manual testing, with particular emphasis on integration testing, end-to-end validation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.

You will work closely with the Test Manager, Product, Development, and Business teams, contributing to high-quality releases by ensuring solutions are fit for purpose, meet business needs, and integrate seamlessly across platforms.

As a Test Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring quality throughout the software development lifecycle by designing, executing, and maintaining effective test coverage.

  • Analyse business and technical documentation (e.g. requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, integration designs) to derive test scenarios and cases
  • Design, build, and execute manual and automated test scripts across API, integration, and UI layers
  • Carry out integration testing to validate point-to-point and system-to-system data flows
  • Perform end-to-end testing across multiple applications and services
  • Support and coordinate UAT activities, working closely with business users to:
    • Prepare UAT scenarios and test data
    • Execute or facilitate UAT sessions
    • Capture, triage, and manage UAT feedback and defects
  • Raise, log, prioritise, and track defects, ensuring clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence
  • Create and maintain regression test packs and ensure they are kept up to date as systems evolve
  • Contribute to test reporting and quality metrics, providing visibility of progress, risks, and trends
  • Collaborate effectively within Project and Agile delivery teams to provide QA insights and recommendations
  • Work with developers and DevOps colleagues to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines where applicable
  • Foster the culture of continuous improvements to maximise the value of the QA function and get the most out of the toolsets available

About You

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced delivery environment.

  • Proven experience in a Test Analyst or similar QA role.
  • Strong understanding of manual testing techniques.
  • Experience testing integration points and end-to-end workflows.
  • Exposure to test automation frameworks (e.g. Playwright, Cypress, or similar).
  • Exposure to API testing and tools (e.g. Postman).
  • Experience supporting or leading UAT activities with business stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum delivery methodologies.
  • Confident using test and delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Test Management tools (e.g. TestRail).
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Clear, confident communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
