The Role
We are seeking a Test Analyst to join our IT function, where you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that new and enhanced systems meet business and customer expectations.
Working collaboratively with Business Analysts, Developers, and Project Teams, your responsibilities will include:
- Validating systems through comprehensive testing across the full software testing lifecycle.
- Supporting test planning, test execution, defect management, and quality assurance for successful project delivery.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in problem-solving, stakeholder collaboration, and driving quality improvements within an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, prepare, and execute functional, regression, and scenario-based test cases to support project delivery.
- Develop and maintain manual and automated test scripts, ensuring broad test coverage across applications and systems.
- Analyse business requirements, user stories, and project documentation to create effective testing approaches.
- Execute testing activities and document results, maintaining clear audit trails and test evidence.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA or TFS, participating in defect triage and resolution.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by assisting business users in understanding testing processes and executing test scenarios.
- Produce testing progress reports and provide updates to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying ways to enhance testing processes, automation, and quality standards.
- Participate in root cause analysis to prevent recurring defects and improve future outcomes.

Skills & Requirements
- Previous experience in Software Testing, Test Analyst, or Quality Assurance roles.
- Strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum delivery frameworks.
- Familiarity with manual and automated test scripts creation and execution.
- Knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks.
- Proficiency with defect management tools (e.g., JIRA,TFS).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with an excellent attention to detail.
- SQL or database experience to support testing, investigation, and data validation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills—able to work effectively across technical and business teams.
- Advantageous: ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent experience.
- Beneficial: Exposure to scripting/programming languages such as VBA, Java, or similar.
