What You’ll Do
As a Technician in our Test & Development team, you’ll play a hands-on role in supporting the development and validation of our vehicles. Based in our Scarborough workshop, you’ll carry out electrical and mechanical tasks to prepare vehicles and test rigs for verification activities.
Working closely with engineers, you’ll:
- Build, modify, and instrument vehicles
- Support testing both on-site and at external facilities
- Help ensure product quality and performance in an innovative, fast-paced engineering environment
This team-based role offers variety, practical problem-solving, and the opportunity to directly impact product innovation.

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a self-motivated, practical individual with a strong automotive engineering background. Essential requirements include:
- Experience with electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and carry out fault finding
- Confidence working independently or collaboratively in a workshop environment
Bonus points for:
- Experience with high voltage or CAN systems
- Knowledge of instrumentation and data logging equipment
- A PSV or HGV licence
- Background in vehicle testing or development environments
