Test Automation Manager
Location: London
Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 + Excellent Benefits

Our client is a leading global professional services and technology consultancy, delivering innovative solutions across strategy, consulting, digital transformation, technology, and operations.
Their Quality Engineering practice is continuing to grow and is seeking an experienced Test Automation Manager to lead the delivery of modern testing strategies and quality engineering excellence across a range of enterprise client engagements.
Role Overview
As a Test Automation Manager, you'll lead the development and implementation of modern Quality Engineering strategies, helping clients transform and optimize their testing capabilities. You'll combine strategic leadership with hands-on technical expertise, guiding teams while remaining actively involved in test automation and engineering delivery.

- Lead the development and implementation of modern Quality Engineering strategies
- Work closely with clients and internal delivery teams to define testing approaches, implement automation frameworks, drive quality best practices, and influence engineering outcomes
- Mentor and develop team members, helping to build high-performing Quality Engineering teams
What They're Looking For
- Significant experience leading Quality Engineering or Test Automation teams
- Proven track record defining and implementing modern Quality Engineering and automated testing strategies
- Strong hands-on testing and coding experience, with the ability to lead from the front
- Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#
- Knowledge of AI-assisted testing and coding tools, including technologies such as Playwright with MCP, GitHub Copilot, or similar solutions
- Experience working within cloud environments including AWS and/or Azure
- Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills, with the ability to influence technical and business audiences
- Passion for mentoring, coaching, and developing engineering talent
