About The Role
Due to the sensitive nature of this role, you will be required to undergo DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/united-kingdom-security-vetting-clearance-levels/nationa…. An allowance of £5k per annum may be payable monthly while you hold this DV and continue to work in a role that requires that level of security clearance. The terms of this allowance will be made available if you are successful in being recruited into this role.
This job role is based onsite (Office based 5 days per week). Monday-Friday 37.5 hours per week. You will need to be eligible to obtain DV Security Clearance before starting this role. You will need to have lived in the UK for 10+ years to be eligible.

This is a Test Automation Professional role in which you will develop your technical expertise delivering Test Automation and Software Work Packages to time, cost and quality. It’s a great opportunity to develop your management skills too, as you will be expected to coach and mentor others in the team in your own specialist area.

What You Will Be Doing (Role Accountabilities)
- Ensuring the technical delivery of complex software solutions, requiring a low-level understanding of software platforms.
- Involved across the end-to-end delivery of project work, from customer elaboration to development, to test and assurance, to delivery.
- Influence customers and suppliers in delivery of work packages.
- Be a point-of-contact for customer queries relating to your project, which will require travelling to our customer site.
What You'll Need To Succeed (Skills & Experience)
- Able to deliver solutions using some of the following technologies: MEAN stack, C#, Python, C++, low-level mobile development (Objective-C, C++), elastic, ansible, docker, Jenkins, git.
- Ability to use your technical expertise to influence customers on delivery of work packages.
- Be of graduate level in a technical discipline, with a background/interest in software engineering.
- Strong customer skills and communication skills.
- Knowledge of software methodologies including Waterfall/V model, Agile, Lean, DevOps.
Security Clearance: The nature of our work means you will be expected to obtain and maintain a DV clearance, so if you don’t currently have one, we will need to undertake pre security checks before starting the role with us.
