Your Opportunity
- Role: Test Centre Administrator (Part-Time, Minimum 33 hours/month)
- Shift Flexibility Required:
- Weekends (Saturday included)
- Varying schedules (early mornings, late nights, weekdays/weekends)
- Ability to adapt to shift patterns is essential
- Pay: £13.60/hour, paid monthly in arrears (1 month delay)

Your Responsibilities
As the face of Pearson VUE’s test centre, you’ll uphold the integrity of our exams while ensuring candidates feel supported. Key duties include:
- Customer Service:
- Warmly welcome and check-in candidates/test takers.
- Verbally and clearly explain exam rules/policies.
- Exam Security & Compliance:
- Adhere to all security protocols and company policies.
- Verify candidate identification (ID/documents).
- Proctor/exam invigilation during test sessions.
- Technical & Operational Support:
- Troubleshoot IT/technical issues (e.g., workstation malfunctions).
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., IT) for resolutions.
- Housekeeping:
- Maintain cleanliness (e.g., vacuuming floors, sanitizing keyboards/workstations).
- Monitoring & Safety:
- Keep vigilant for restricted behavior during exams.
- Escort candidates to/from exam rooms (may require prolonged sitting).
Critical Attributes:
- Flexibility to work any day (Mon–Sun), including weekend/early evening shifts.
- Attention to detail and ability to read body language from a distance.
- Professionalism in a quiet, controlled testing environment.
- Physical comfort for long-standing/sitting periods.
Ideal Candidate
Qualifications
- School-level qualifications in English and Maths.
- Advantageous: Prior experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
