Your Opportunity
We are hiring a part-time Test Centre Administrator (minimum 8.25 hours/week) to join our team in Exeter. The role requires flexibility for a variety of shifts within the following schedule:
- Monday–Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 4:15 PM
- Thursday: 10:30 AM – 7:15 PM
- Alternate Saturdays: 7:30 AM – 12:15 PM
Pay: £13.60/hour, paid monthly.
As a Test Centre Administrator, you’ll play a key role in supporting candidates taking critical exams while ensuring security and delivering exceptional service in a customer-focused, friendly environment.
Responsibilities
In this essential role, you’ll:
- Welcome, greet, and check in candidates while verifying their personal identification documents.
- Proctor exams securely, adhering to exam policies and following strict security procedures.
- Troubleshoot technical issues in collaboration with the IT department.
- Ensure adherence to testing processes and rules, explaining procedures clearly.
- Handle light housekeeping duties (e.g., sanitising keyboards, vacuuming workstations).
- Maintain a quiet, professional testing environment with constant attention to detail.

This role requires a flexible team player comfortable with varied shifts (Mon–Sun), minimal badging of behaviours, and long periods of stationary work.
Requirements & Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for an organised, detail-oriented individual with:
- School qualifications in English and Math (essential).
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently in a secure, busy yet quiet testing environment.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanour.
- Availability for morning, evening, and weekend shifts.
