The Role
Position Overview
Test Centre Associate - Leicester (Pay: £13.45/hour)
This opportunity allows you to deliver exceptional customer support and help learners achieve critical milestones in transforming their lives as new drivers. Maintaining the reputation and operational integrity of Reed in Partnership. Ideal for individuals passionate about efficient service delivery, accurate problem-solving and business policies, with a flexible approach to working hours.
Key Responsibilities

Customer Service Excellence
- Provide a high standard of customer service to all candidates.
- Handle professional queries about test processes and procedures.

Operational Duties
- Verify and register candidates using ID confirmation via the booking system.
- Monitor the test centre’s equipment and procedures, ensuring strict adherence to DVSA guidelines and Reed in Partnership policies.
- Fully invigilate theory/hazard perception tests under strict assessment protocols.

Adherence and Safety
- Support diversity and inclusion, ensuring the test centre meets candidates’ needs under Equality Act regulations.
- Manage incidents and security concerns under programme processes.

Test Centre Administration
- Prepare for each shift, perform daily opening/closing routines, and follow up on scheduled tests/tracker reviews.

- Adjust to differing shifts and occasional unscheduled busy periods to maintain operations effectively.
Work Schedule
Flexible options around part-time (minimum 20h/week) or occasional shifts. Available shifts:
- Mornings – 8:30 AM – 1:00/2:00 PM
- Afternoons – 12:30/1:00 PM – 5:30/6:30 PM
- Full days – 8:30 AM – 5:30/6:30 PM
- Evenings – 4:30/5:00 PM – 8:30/9:30 PM
- Afternoon & Evening shifts (flexible) – 12:00/1:00 PM – 8:30/9:30 PM
Operating pattern
- Leicestershire test centre operates typically 6 days/week (mostly Mon-Sat, subject to demand).
- Need full flexibility to accept mix of mornings, afternoons, evenings & Saturday shifts.
