The Role: Test Centre Associate – Stirling
Are you passionate about providing exellent customer service and enjoy the satisfaction of helping new people every day? We invite you to join our Test Centre Associate – Stirling team, where you’ll play a crucial role in the secure assessment of prospective new drivers, supporting near 1.7 million driving theory tests annually across the UK.
What the Role Involves
You’ll be responsible for the invigilation of driving theory exams, ensuring the smooth and secure delivery of tests to candidates while maintaining integrity and compliance with DVSA standards. Your duties will include:
- Delivering outstanding customer service to candidates
- Verifying candidate ID and booking them into the system
- Monitoring test integrity and security
- Invigilating tests with strict adherence to programme guidelines
- Providing clear explanations of the test process and supporting queries
- Reviewing tests and managing test centre scheduling
- Performing daily test centre opening/closing procedures
- Meeting individual needs as per the Equality Act and fostering diversity and inclusion
- Handling and reporting incidents that may impact testing
- Collaborating with the team to uphold ** spike you
Responsibilities
✔ Adherence to Policies: Strictly following all Reed in Partnership policies and DVSA programme requirements.
Core Duties Include:

- Delivering a we service every time.
- Validation of candidate documentation to ensure legitimate participation.
- Assisting with interpersonal queries and providing clear communication (verbal and written).

Test Security & Integrity
- Maintaining high standards of security against fraud or deliberate bypassing.
- Cross-verifying test paths and ensuring no deviations from legitimate processes.

Operational Duties
- Performing initial and concluding test centre rituals, including inventory checks and records submission.
- Tracking attendance logs vertically for internal audits.
- Ensuring compliance with mental spaces/disabilities needs and promotions as given registrations.

Conflict Resolution & Incident Management
- Managing candidates requiring assistance (including those with disabilities) in a supportive manner.
- Resolving variances and escalating critical issues that could breach test integrity or compromise candidates’ experiences.

Compliance & Process Title
- Subscribing to and adhering to Generation Test Centre Login Framework.

Teamwork &Practices kcal Chair
- Collaboration with colleagues to maintain consistent candidate journeys.
Schedule & Work Flexibility
Role Timings
Part-time or occasional shift:
- Mornings (8:30 AM – 1:00 PM / 2:00 PM)
- Afternoons (12:30 PM – 5:30 PM / 6:30 PM)
- Full Time (8:30 AM – 5:30 PM / 6:30 PM)
- Evenings (4:30 PM – 8:30 PMor 9:30 PM)
- Afternoon & Evening (12:00 PM / 1:00 PM – 8:30 PM/ 9:30 PM)
- This role has minimum set days of 6 per week within the range of Monday through Saturday.
You are encouraged to be fully adaptable to attend shifts throughout different operating days, ** weekend evenings**, and convenience.

Requirements
Ideal candidates possess:
- Full UK Driver’s License (Although driving tutor skills are unnecessary).
- Extensive experience in customer care with notable examples to illustrate quality management.
- Spot-worthy attention to detail, coupled with analytical acumen for ensuring accuracy in ‘ various operations.
- Understanding and adaptability to complex multi-tasking and-
- Sensitivity to work under tight schedules—progresses efficiently handling concurrent problems.
- Proven experience in supporting diverse customer groups.
- Necessity for resolutions based on strong judgement/critically consistent.
- Community and clear understanding of diversity inclusion strategy required.
- Skills to manage both diverse customer needs smoothly, gracefully, and professionally.
