Test Development Engineer
We are seeking a Test Development Engineer to join our engineering team, supporting the development, validation, and production. This is a hands-on, multidisciplinary role combining test engineering, automation, electronics integration, and software development.
You will play a key role in designing and building sophisticated test systems used to characterise sensor performance, verify product specifications, and ensure reliable transfer into production environments.
You will develop a deep understanding of the products, enabling you to define and execute robust test strategies across the product lifecycle.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test setups that integrate mechanical fixtures, electronic instrumentation, and software-driven control systems. You will also develop tools for data analysis, visualisation, and database management to ensure high-quality test insights and traceability.
About You You will likely hold a degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related scientific discipline, and bring experience in test and measurement environments.
Essential skills and experience: Strong understanding of test and measurement principles Experience integrating hardware, electronics, and software systems Proficient use of laboratory test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.) Experience working with databases for data storage and retrieval Strong Python programming skills for automation, analysis, and visualisation Familiarity with version control systems (ideally Git) Experience working within quality systems (ISO9001 or similar) Ability to analyse, interpret, and present technical data clearly
