Job Title: Mobile & Web Automation Tester Location: Bristol, United Kingdom Type: Permanent Mode of Working: Hybrid (3 days WFO)

We have an exciting opportunity for you as a Mobile & Web Automation Tester!

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and maintain automation frameworks for enterprise-scale mobile and web applications.
  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams to ensure seamless, high-quality digital experiences.
  • Implement continuous integration and delivery practices, embedding robust testing in agile workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Automation Framework Development: Design, build, and refine automation testing frameworks for mobile and web platforms.
  • Comprehensive Testing: Execute functional, integration, and regression testing across diverse systems.
  • Scripting & Tooling: Create and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Appium; cover technical requirements precisely.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with developers, architects, and business analysts to refine requirements and strategies.
  • QA Processes: Support CI/CD pipelines, identify defects, and conduct root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement.
  • Documentation & Agility: Maintain test documentation and ensure traceability; support rapid feedback cycles in Agile sprints.

Your Profile

Essential Requirements

You must demonstrate: ✅ Extensive hands-on experience in web and mobile automation testing, with a focus on functional testing. ✅ Proven expertise with Selenium and Appium for automation tasks. ✅ Java proficiency for scripting and integration in test environments. ✅ Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks and DevOps practices. ✅ Strong teamwork skills, bridging the gap between engineering and business stakeholders. ✅ Analytical rigor and problem-solving agility.

Desirable (but not mandatory)

🔹 Prior Agile programme involvement, including sprint-level testing. 🔹 Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration. 🔹 Experience defining test strategies and advancing quality engineering best practices.
