SECURITY CLEARANCE: Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance
TRAVEL REQUIRED: Occasional travel within the UK and internationally

Your Role: Test Manager
You will lead the overall test definition aspects of your assigned project, ensuring the testing approach aligns with customer requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leadership and Accountability
- Define and manage a testing approach to meet project milestones.
- Train other engineers and set the standard through your work.
- Ensure validated deliverables against defined standards (BMS and specification requirements).
Technical Accountability
- Stay informed about emerging technological/engineering developments and collaborate with Engineering Management to drive continuous improvement.
- Manage and oversee test/verification strategies and plans to minimise project risks.
- Confirm early-stage technical solutions for cost-effectiveness and accurate validation.
- Symplify subcontractor deliverables—ensuring they fully meet requirements.
Technical Coordination
- Advise on System Reference Model and other test environment infrastructure.
- Lead the Verification Cross Reference Index (tracking test verification status against requirements).
- Oversee defect management related to Testing & Verification (T&V).
About You
Primary Qualifications
- Formal qualification in testing (Advanced ISTQB-level in Software Testing)
- Strong background in project management (e.g., PRINCE2 practitioner)
- Training in project planning tools
