The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Test Manager to support the delivery of a major Workday HR & Finance implementation.

Working closely with programme leadership, you'll take ownership of the overall testing approach, ensuring testing is effectively planned, governed and delivered. A key part of the role will be engaging with client stakeholders to secure and manage business involvement throughout the testing lifecycle.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Defining and implementing the overall test strategy and approach for the programme.
  • Leading and coordinating all testing activities across the Workday implementation.
  • Working closely with business stakeholders to secure participation in testing activities and manage engagement throughout the programme.
  • Managing test plans, schedules, risks, issues and reporting.
  • Overseeing test execution, defect management and quality assurance.
  • Collaborating with programme, delivery and business teams to ensure successful outcomes.

Essential:

  • Proven experience as a Test Manager on Workday implementation programmes.
  • Strong understanding of the Workday business testing approach.
  • Experience defining end-to-end testing strategies and managing complex test delivery.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage business users and coordinate testing across multiple teams.
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience working on UK Government or wider public sector programmes.
  • Security Clearance (SC) is highly desirable.

  • Start: ASAP
  • Duration: 3–4 months
  • Location: Fully Remote
  • Contract: Outside IR35
