Test Subject Matter Expert (SME) β Unibanks Core Banking Platform
π UK or Ireland
π Contract Opportunity (UK engagement via umbrella company)
I'm working with a leading banking client seeking an experienced Test SME to play a key role in the delivery of change across their Unibanks core banking platform.
This is an excellent opportunity to lead testing activities on a business-critical core banking system, ensuring releases are delivered safely, with robust test coverage and minimal risk to live banking operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Owning the test strategy and test plans for Unibanks releases and enhancements.
- Designing and executing functional, regression, integration and end-to-end testing.
- Managing defects through to resolution with development and business teams.
- Ensuring test environments and test data are ready for each delivery cycle.
- Providing risk assessments, progress reporting and stakeholder updates.
- Acting as the go-to Test SME for the platform across the programme.

We're Looking For:
- Proven experience testing the Unibanks core banking platform (or a comparable core banking solution such as Hogan).
- Strong knowledge of core banking functions including accounts, payments, lending and customer servicing.
- Experience working in regulated banking environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Zephyr, HP ALM/Quality Center or similar.
- ISTQB certification and automation experience are advantageous.
