GTS Group are supporting an innovative engineering and technology organisation that develops advanced solutions for the automotive, electric vehicle, transportation, and motorsport industries. Their technologies focus on electrification, telemetry, control systems, and analytics, helping customers improve performance, efficiency, and sustainability. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Test Technician to join their electronics manufacturing and testing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies in a highly collaborative and technically advanced environment.
The Role
As a Test Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out electronic testing activities, fault-finding, and inspection processes to ensure products are delivered to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform electronic testing activities during manufacturing and development
- Use oscilloscopes, function generators, and multimeters
- Fault-find electronic circuits and assemblies to component level
- Support electronics assembly inspections and investigations
- Interpret and follow test procedures and technical documentation
- Maintain manufacturing records and product traceability documentation
- Support and mentor other Test Technicians where required
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with ISO9001 quality standards and procedures

Skills & Experience
We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience in positions such as:
- Test Technician
- Electronics Technician
- Electronic Test Engineer
- Manufacturing Test Technician
- Production Test Technician
- Electronics Test Technician
- Electronics Manufacturing Technician
Essential Requirements:
- ONC, HNC, or equivalent qualification in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience using electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes and multimeters
- Ability to diagnose and fault-find electronic assemblies to component level
- Understanding of IPC standards
- Experience working within electronics manufacturing or another high-technology environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and organizational abilities

- Automotive, motorsport, aerospace, transportation, or defence sector experience
- Exposure to electrification technologies, telemetry, or control systems
- Experience within an ISO9001-certified manufacturing environment
