Contract
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Fixed-term, 1 year
Duties
Procurement
- Administer the Know Your Supplier (KYS) process
- Request supplier information
- Carry out risk analysis/supplier screening using the ADIT tool
- Attend and assist with supply chain quality audits, ensuring:
- Documentation is readily available
- Traceability records are maintained
- Maintain the approved supplier list and act as the point of contact for supplier logistics
- Attend global Testia Supply Chain calls and review meetings as needed
- Create and maintain master data in ERP system (SAGE X3 or similar) for new suppliers
- Oversee the goods receipt process, ensuring:
- Deliveries are accurate
- Deliveries are logged
- Correct routing to departments
Operations Admin
- Process sales orders and generate delivery notes accurately within the ERP system
- Arrange and track internal/external training sessions, certifications, and compliance renewals
- Assist with travel bookings, accommodation, and site access for inspectors/operators
- Monitor and replenish stock levels for:
- Office stationery
- Workwear
- Daily consumables (ensure uninterrupted operations)
- Manage ad-hoc administrative requests and delegated tasks to support operations/management

Essential Attributes for the Role
- Good general education level, essential proficiency in English & Math
- Experience using ERP systems for:
- Data entry
- Order processing
- Inventory management
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Excellent working knowledge of:
- General office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
- ERP system (SAGE or similar)
- Experience in customer-oriented environments
Desirable Attributes
- Proficiency or interest in AI tools, basic scripting, or low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Google AppSheet) to automate workflows
- Previous administrative or supply chain experience in:
- Engineering
- Manufacturing
- Logistics
- Quality-controlled environments (e.g., aerospace, NDT)
- Understanding of:
- Workplace safety
- COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health)
- Safe manual handling
