Job Description: Chef de Partie

We’re seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join our growing kitchen team at The Boxford.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Food preparation, stock rotation, and food labelling
  • General kitchen cleaning duties
  • Ensuring high standards of Food Hygiene & Health & Safety at all times
  • Overseeing the smooth and efficient running of your dedicated section
  • Leading a Mediterranean kitchen with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients
  • Ownership responsibility for your station within our fast-paced environment
  • Opportunity to learn, develop skills, and progress to a Junior Sous Chef role

Key requirements: ✔ Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen ✔ Proficiency in diverse cooking techniques and cuisines ✔ Passion for top-tier food and customer service, with innovative flair in menu development and presentation ✔ Leaving Certificate (or equivalent) education or higher ✔ Preference for candidates with an NVQ qualification (or equivalent) ✔ Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills ✔ Exceptional attention to detail

Hours & Compensation

  • 45 hours per week
  • Salary: £30,000 per annum, plus tronc

Employment Terms
