Job Description: Chef de Partie
We’re seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join our growing kitchen team at The Boxford.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for:
- Food preparation, stock rotation, and food labelling
- General kitchen cleaning duties
- Ensuring high standards of Food Hygiene & Health & Safety at all times
- Overseeing the smooth and efficient running of your dedicated section
- Leading a Mediterranean kitchen with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients
- Ownership responsibility for your station within our fast-paced environment
- Opportunity to learn, develop skills, and progress to a Junior Sous Chef role
Key requirements: ✔ Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen ✔ Proficiency in diverse cooking techniques and cuisines ✔ Passion for top-tier food and customer service, with innovative flair in menu development and presentation ✔ Leaving Certificate (or equivalent) education or higher ✔ Preference for candidates with an NVQ qualification (or equivalent) ✔ Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills ✔ Exceptional attention to detail
Hours & Compensation
- 45 hours per week
- Salary: £30,000 per annum, plus tronc

Employment Terms
- Permanent position available
- Work expectations: 45 hours per week (with potential flexibility)
- Initial base salary consideration within the £30,000 per annum range, subject to discussion post-application.
