Our American Restaurant – The Diner is looking for a passionate Junior Kitchen Manager / Sous Chef to help lead our kitchen team. Reporting directly to the Kitchen Manager, you will be the driving force behind our exceptional service, helping to lead, inspire, and develop a team of kitchen superstars.
We thrive on strength in numbers, so we’re seeking energetic, enthusiastic, fun-loving leaders who embody a reliable "get-things-done" attitude. Our team specialises in serving up loaded all-American favourites, including juicy signature burgers, chargrilled steaks, and our famous build-your-own combos.

You must hold a Level 3 Food Safety qualification and feel confident leading a team in a busy, high-volume environment where continuous improvement is a priority.

Key Responsibilities
In this fast-paced role, you will prioritise guest satisfaction in every decision. Your duties will include:
- Supporting the Kitchen Manager in daily operations
- Overseeing resource planning to ensure optimal team shift coverage
- Trusted to operate efficiently in a demanding, high-turnover environment
- Contributing to continuous improvements to kitchen workflows
This is a full-time permanent role (40 hours/week), working 5 days a week, including evenings and weekends. Flexibility is key.
