The Role:
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and adaptable Team Member to join our Gritstone team at Substation. This role is focused on delivering great coffee, food, and customer experience in a busy, welcoming environment.
The Role Will Be Split Between:
- Barista & Customer Service: Preparing and serving high-quality coffee and drinks, greeting guests, taking orders, handling enquiries, and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
- Food Service & Prep: Preparing and serving simple food items, maintaining high hygiene standards, and ensuring the kitchen and service areas run efficiently.
- Front of House & Cleaning: Keeping the café and shared spaces clean, safe, and well-presented at all times, including clearing tables, restocking, and supporting general day-to-day operations.

What We’re Looking For:
- Strong hospitality and food service
- Friendly, positive, and customer-focused attitude
- Barista experience
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to help across all areas
- Good attention to cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Reliable and punctual
