About Tawteen

Tawteen is a dynamic platform focusing on [brief mission/use case]. As we grow, we are looking to fill several key roles in our platform development team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with feature leads to understand strategic approaches and implement innovative solutions.
  • Define and implement Scrum ceremonies with relevance to the Tawteen operations team.
  • Assess and oversee alternative technologies and solution options, taking into account cost, speed, and success probabilities.
  • Translate attention to market trends into strategic decisions for the platform’s evolution.
  • Facilitate leadership and guidance on operational, strategic, and technical implementation to support business excellence.
  • Partner with product owners and stakeholders to articulate system requirements.
  • Ensure alignment of the team with end-user needs and goals, emphasising a user-centric design approach.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in:
    • Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and iterative development processes.
    • Creating, implementing and verifying SLAs for cloud services.
    • Project and team management capabilities.
  • Technical technical expertise required includes:
    • Cloud Architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP): Advanced experience with cloud-based application deployment, infrastructure provisioning, microservices development and optimisation.
    • Full Stack Development: Proficiency in front-end (e.g., React) and back-end (e.g., Java, Python) technologies combined with database design using SQL/NoSQL systems.
    • Microservices Architecture: Ability to design, build, maintain and scale complex distributed systems.
  • Assurance of unparalleled dedication and commitment to achieving Tawteen’s mission and values.

Preferences

  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices like zero-trust architecture and data protection compliance.
  • Additional experience in "FinTech" or similar domains a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily on-site construction activities, including workforce management (planning, deployment, performance review).
