Job Title: The Switch | Kevin Pietersen | YouTube Channel - Coordinator
Reports To: Head of Production
Location: Remote
Salary: Subject to experience
Contract: Three months with view to extend
Role Overview:
The Membership Coordinator will play a key role in supporting and developing The Switch's membership and audience engagement activities. The position spans four core areas:
- YouTube Subscription Programme
- Newsletter Management
- Giveaways and Member Engagement
- Merchandise and E-commerce
Working closely with YouTube, external partners, editorial teams, and production, the successful candidate will oversee subscriber deliverables, coordinate membership initiatives, manage timelines, and support the operational delivery of member benefits. The role requires strong project management skills, excellent organisation, and the ability to work across multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
YouTube Subscription Programme
- Act as the primary point of contact for YouTube subscription-related activity, liaising with platform representatives and internal stakeholders.
- Develop a strong understanding of subscription functionality and member benefits, identifying and resolving any operational issues or blockers.
- Manage and track subscriber deliverables across all membership tiers, ensuring benefits are delivered accurately and on schedule.
- Monitor subscriber engagement and provide recommendations to improve member experience and retention.

Newsletter Management
- Coordinate with the editorial team and third-party newsletter writer to plan and deliver regular newsletter content.
- Participate in weekly editorial and social media meetings to align newsletter activity with production schedules and content plans.
- Support the delivery of exclusive content and communications for newsletter subscribers.
Giveaways and Community Engagement
- Coordinate member giveaways, competitions, and audience engagement initiatives.
- Ensure all giveaways are managed efficiently and in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations.
- Track participation and support reporting on campaign performance.
Merchandise and E-commerce
- Support the Production Manager in managing merchandise workflows, including product launches, fulfilment, customer communications, and end-to-end delivery.
- Assist in coordinating e-commerce activity and ensuring merchandise-related subscriber benefits are fulfilled effectively.

Production & Project Management
- Support forward planning for subscriber and newsletter deliverables.
- Assist on filming days and production shoots when required.
- Maintain project timelines and ensure key milestones are achieved.
- Escalate risks, issues, or blockers promptly to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Support budget tracking and reporting across membership-related activities where required.
Key Skills & Experience:
Essential
- Understanding of digital platforms or social media channels.
- Project management experience in the media production environment.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Good analytical and reporting skills.
Desirable
- Experience running promotional campaigns or competitions.
- Experience working with subscription or membership models.
- Experience managing e-commerce or merchandise sales.
- Knowledge of advertising and competition regulations.
