Job Summary
- Salary: £37,875 – £46,581.47 per annum
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday, shifts between 07:30 and 20:30)
- Location: 33 Grosvenor Place, London, SW1X 7HY
- Contract: Full-Time & Permanent (with on-call requirements)
About the Role
Cleveland Clinic London is seeking a DDSI Theatre Scrub Practitioner to join our Theatres team. This role offers a salary of up to £46,581.47, depending on experience. You will provide high-quality perioperative care in a brand-new, state-of-the-art healthcare facility specialising in multiple surgical specialties.
As a member of our state-of-the-art perioperative theatre team, you will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and efficient care for patients and their relatives.
Duties & Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs, coordinating with the clinical team.
- Demonstrating clinical expertise in patient care across all perioperative specialty Theatre departments.
- Adhering to the NMC / HCPC Code of Professional Conduct at all times.
- Effectively managing clinical workloads, prioritising care based on patient need.
- Maintaining accurate clinical records, documenting changes in condition and treatment delivered.

Person Specification – What We Need from You
Essential Requirements:
✅ Suitable experience as a Theatre Scrub Practitioner in a dedicated surgical environment ✅ Active Nursing or ODP registration through Nursing & Midwifery Council (First Level) or HCPC ✅ A Post-Registration Qualification in Surgical Scrub Practice relevant to DDSI (Direct Dependent Supervision & Independent Safeguarding) approach ✅ Full Occupational Health Clearance for Exposure Prone Procedures (EPP) ✅ An individual standing order or equivalent authorisation/delivery regimen for decontamination processes, route of administration, enabling processes
