Theatre Sterile Services Co-ordinator
Rowley Hall Hospital
Rowley Hall Hospital are looking for a highly motivated and experienced theatre kit Co-ordinator to work closely with our theatre team and wider TSSU teams to ensure that the supply of sterile services is reliable and uninterrupted at all times. Developing a sound working relationship with the TSSU Hub.
Acting as the focal point for all communications relating to the supply of sterile equipment from the TSSU Hub. Ensuring all equipment is accurately scanned in and out of the hospital
Provide Sterile Services support and knowledge during Theatre opening times Checking that all equipment for the next day’s operations is present in the Operating Theatre and fit for use and, if it is not, ensuring that arrangements for the supply of outstanding kit are agreed and in place. Completion, receipt and dispatch of all paperwork connected with the provision of a responsive service e.g. Quality Forms, Loan Kit information, Fast Tracking. Sufficient involvement with the planning of theatre schedules by attending activity planning meetings to ensure that the inventory of equipment will be sufficient to cope with the proposed workload, and advising Theatre Staff of any bottlenecks or unrealistic assumptions. Ensuring that Patient Association of used surgical instruments is being accurately undertaken and promptly added to HESSDA (the sterile pack tracking system). Provide support for Theatre stores management and ordering processes, including loan kit, and associated administration where required.
Essential Criteria
Able to learn and use IT programmes that support the service such as Health Edge Ability to form good working relationships. Experience in taking ownership of forward planning Experience of working in a theatre department

Rowley Hall Hospital is one of Staffordshire's leading private hospitals located in a Georgian listed building in five acres of Rowley Park, only five minutes from the centre of Stafford. The hospital opened in 1987 and currently has 13 bedrooms, all with en suite facilities.
By investing in advanced medical technology, the hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services. Two fully equipped theatres with ultra clean air technology are particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures such as arthroscopy, hip and knee replacement and spinal surgery.
