Theatre Support Worker Band 3

** theatres Practitioner (Support Worker) – West Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust**

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring individual to join our highly motivated and dynamic team at West Middlesex University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Our busy operating theatre department, featuring nine operating theatres, is dedicated to providing exciting and high-quality patient care. The environment is supportive, and we actively encourage your personal and professional development.

The role involves assisting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) in delivering safe and effective patient care. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in patient care by maintaining hygiene, orderliness, and safety standards within the theatre environment.
  • Supporting with clerical duties under the direction of nursing or ODP staff.
  • Demonstrating flexibility during shifts and providing cover where required within your competence level.
