About Heart And Home Living
Our homes provide specialist residential care for children and young people with complex emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). We are dedicated to creating safe and nurturing environments where every child feels safe, valued, and empowered to grow.
Our approach is trauma-informed and child-centred. We focus on delivering high-quality care, personalised education, and life skills development – all tailored to meet each young person’s individual needs and help them build a brighter future.
The Role
As the Children’s Residential Support Worker, you will play a key role in providing consistent, outstanding care and support to children in our care. Working as part of a dedicated and supportive team, you’ll help create a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment that promotes positive routines, emotional wellbeing, and life skill development.
You will build meaningful, trusting relationships with young people, supporting them through challenges, and empower them to develop confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging. This is a rewarding role where you can make a lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable children.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
