Therapy Technical Instructor - Band 4 - 30 hours & 37.5 hours - Permanent
An exciting job opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced, and self-motivated individual to work as part of our Multidisciplinary Therapy team at the Stamford Unit Intermediate Care Centre in Ashton-Under-Lyne.

Responsibilities
As a Technical Instructor in our Therapy team you will work autonomously under the Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and be responsible for independent assessment of patients including mobility, manual handling plans, personal care, group work, following treatment plans and optimising the independence of our patients in order for them to return safely home.

To assist in the rehabilitation of patients within an intermediate care setting by implementing individual treatment programmes/protocols as prescribed by a therapist. To work with indirect supervision, reporting back patient progress and informing therapist of any problems. Assist in the case management, general administration and equipment systems management within the therapy service. To provide leadership and support to junior members of staff including those from different professions.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have well-established knowledge, experience and clinical skills working with a range of patients. Experience of working in rehabilitation would be advantageous.
Ability to travel independently and efficiently across multiple community sites to meet the operational requirements of the role.
