Service Manager - Marine Platform (Thermo King)
About the Role
Join Thermo King as a Service Manager for our Marine platform, playing a key role in shaping the performance, reliability, and growth of our marine product portfolio across the Eastern United States and Canada!
This high-impact role combines technical expertise, commercial leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to drive:
- Product improvements
- Aftermarket growth
- Service excellence
For an experienced professional passionate about marine refrigeration, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional service in a dynamic global business.
What You Will Do
- Drive and support improvement projects for Thermo King marine products, including reefer and genset systems.
- Deliver commercial strategy for aftermarket parts sales in the Eastern United States and Canada.
- Provide monthly forecast information for planning and analytics.
- Manage commercial warranty spend and claim resolution.
- Provide internal technical support to Thermo King sales and service teams (North America and globally).
- Offer technical feedback to engineering and aftermarket teams, aiding new product development and improvements.
- Handle technical and software-related troubleshooting beyond field service capabilities, acting as first point of contact for the warranty team.
- Monitor aftermarket and warranty programs in the Tavant system to ensure compliance and proper administration.
- Coordinate technical training needs and deliver sessions to customers, dealers, and internal teams.
- Assist in drafting technical manuals and bulletins for dealers and customers.
- Administer iService platform content to ensure technical updates are available.

What You Will Bring
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in technical, commercial, or related fields.
- Analytical skills (basic to advanced) and proficiency using Microsoft Excel.
- Relevant refrigeration knowledge (basic to advanced), with a preference for marine refrigeration expertise.
- Advanced mechanical or electrical technical skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities to interface across levels—dealers, direct reports, managers, and executive leadership.
- Willingness to travel to Canada for occasional site visits and performance support.
Compensation & Incentives
- Annual base salary range: $86,200.00 - $130,269.99
- Compensation type: Salary + Incentives (Eligible)
- Sales commission eligible: No
- Note: Base pay will depend on factors such as seniority, performance, location, experience, and travel demand.
