Our client is one of the leading Insurers in Pension Risk Transfer (PRT).
About the Role
Following their latest deal, this is an additional role to help manage the Pensions Advisory and Operations team. (Focus on third party administration)
This role is responsible for running the team that deliver services to the TPA’s. They handle, manage and respond to queries raised by the administrators and the manager is responsible for workflow, delivery and quality. While they won’t need to deliver technical pension responses they will need to understand the components of the issue and who is best to handle it. Including the awareness of vulnerable members and urgent issues.

You will be responsible for the overall TPA relationships and ensuring, through partnerships, that SLA’s are met and quality of service to the members is ensured.
The individual would act in a consultant-like capacity managing internal and external relationships and workload so will need to be able to demonstrate:
- Organisational skills and day to day people management
- Give examples of relationship management
- Knowledge of pensions admin process and environment (ideally including PRT)
- Examples of proactivity to solve problems directly

Responsibilities
- Support and get exposure to scheme transitions, buy-ins, and buy-outs with internal stakeholders. Solid experiences in Third party administration relationship
- Role will suit a DB pensions professional with admin expertise that can manage people of relationships with a consistent member lens and focus.
- Strong knowledge of defined benefit pensions and pensions administration.
- Understanding of buy-ins, buy-outs, and scheme transitions.
