TPRM Professional – Third-Party Risk Management Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a well-rounded TPRM professional with:

  • Strong regulatory alignment, particularly under SS2/21 (PRA supervised entities’ operational resilience)
  • Hands-on experience in supplier risk management
  • Capability in systems, reporting, and operational resilience within a regulated environment

You will lead PIC’s Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) programme, overseeing the identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring of third-party risks to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements. Key priorities are safeguarding the organisation’s assets, reputation, and stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Lead the end-to-end third-party risk lifecycle, including onboarding and supplier risk assessments
  • Implement risk controls and mitigation strategies to address identified exposures
  • Monitor supplier performance and risk exposure through ongoing evaluation frameworks
  • Deliver reporting and risk insights to senior stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionability
  • Communicate risks proactively to all levels of the organisation
  • Manage supplier relationships, KPIs, and SLAs, ensuring alignment with business needs
  • Handle supplier disputes, issues, and exit planning with minimal disruption
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies while driving continuous improvement
  • Leverage data-driven analytics (e.g., Power BI, AI) to enhance reporting and decision-making
  • Maintain ongoing professional development in TPRM best practices and emerging risks

Requirements

Key Skills & Experience

PIC operates within financial services, regulated by the FCA and PRA. Successful candidates must demonstrate:

  • A strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and their practical implications

Technical Attributes

  • Advanced knowledge of PRA SS2/21 (Operational Resilience) and related guidance
  • End-to-end TPRM lifecycle expertise (onboarding → risk assessment → mitigation → monitoring)
  • ** Supplier risk management**, including performance and relationship oversight
  • Hands-on experience in due diligence, assurance, and ongoing risk monitoring
  • Proficiency in TPRM/GRC systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Prevalent) and data analytics tools
  • Power BI or similar reporting capabilities for risk oversight and stakeholder communication
  • ** AI applications in TPRM** to improve efficiency and decision-making

Personal Attributes

  • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical controls, frameworks, and SOPs
  • Robust risk assessment and supplier assurance (e.g., ISO, SOC 2 evaluations)
  • Stakeholder influence: Engage effectively across business, risk, and technical teams
  • Clear, concise reporting tailored for senior management and Board-level audiences
