About the Role
At AVEVA, we create software trusted by over 90% of leading industrial companies. The Third-Party Risk Management team oversees all of AVEVA’s suppliers to ensure they do not pose an unacceptable risk to the business or fail to meet minimum security standards. This fast-paced role demands a broad understanding of procurement principles, security, and regulation, along with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
The team is currently stretched due to increased supplier assessments required to meet regulatory obligations, making this a critical position focused on ensuring tangible business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and assess third-party suppliers to identify security risks and resolve issues
- Communicate risks clearly and actionably to internal and external stakeholders (including suppliers) to enhance supply chain security
- Build relationships and navigate complex requirements with various stakeholders
- Work with external suppliers to mature their security posture, ensuring information security is embedded in their processes, products, and services
- Assist in streamlining Third-Party Risk Management processes through improved tooling and workflows
- Conduct data analysis, data entry, and report production using TPRM tooling
Essential Requirements
- Strong communication and engagement skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to varied audiences
- Solid knowledge of procurement concepts, tools, and processes
- Basic understanding of contract law
- Intermediate security knowledge, including:
- Knowledge of ISO 27001
- Familiarity with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework
- Awareness of UK NIS 2 and EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) regulations
- Capacity for process management improvements, including designing and documenting standard operating procedures
- Ability to advocate for AVEVA’s interests with third parties who may have security deficiencies

Hybrid Working
