Threadmill Operator / Manual Turner

Manual Turner / Threadmill Operator – Celeros Flow Technology

About the Role embeds four centuries of precision engineering into its daily life, ensuring robust solutions are provided to critical industries worldwide. We are seeking a skilled Manual Turner / Threadmill Operator to join our talented team in a dynamic, collaborative, and employee-driven environment.

The key responsibility of this role involves manual machine operation, including turning, threadmilling, burring, assembly, and quality inspection, while adhering to operational standards, safety protocols, and quality procedures.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Threadmill and manual machinery, including:
    • Drills, mills, and broaches (as applicable)
    • Screwset dressing and idler/rotor matching
  • Follow strict health & safety standards and workplace regulations
  • Learn and safely operate new machinery and tools efficiently
  • Perform quality checks against engineering drawings and specifications
  • Conduct Preventative Maintenance and monitor machine efficiency
  • Maintain health, safety, and environmental records
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to the companys QMS (Quality Management System)
  • Support training (including mentoring apprentices)
  • Work across multiple teams and sections as required

Key Competencies & Requirements

Must include essential elements:

Technical Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in manual material removal (e.g. turning, milling, grinding)
  • Experience with CNC or HMC-level manufacturing (or equivalent qualifications)
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing drawings, tolerances, and standards
  • Mathematical proficiency for precise measurements and quality control

Machinery Operations

  • Ability to safely operate jib cranes and manual turning equipment

Physical Demands & Working Environment

  • Daily requirements:
    • Standing, sitting, walking, keying input at a computer terminal
    • Talking, interacting, and troubleshooting hourly tasks
    • Reaching and finger coordination for machining precision
  • Occasional demands:
    • Lifting light to moderate loads (up to ~20 kg)
    • Short-term stooping, kneeling, and crawling as needed
    • Use of protective workwear and equipment
  • Travel needs:
    • Occasional commutes (road/air) for projects or team visits (sying longստaying prone in an extended vehicle/plane)
